QUESTION: How are The Candy Sequenced Story Readers different from phonics readers found in other phonics programs? ANSWER: The Candy Sequenced Story Readers begin with small stories and build into longer stories containing connective words and complex connective words (subordinate clauses, infinitive phrases, and participial phrases). Therefore, our Story Readers, unlike other phonics programs, progress from six pages up to twenty-nine pages depending upon where a child is in his Daily Phonics Lessons.
When you purchase The Candy 4WAY Phonics Program you will receive 20 Candy Colored Sequenced Story Readers to print as often as you wish.
When your child has reached the second level of The Candy 4WAY Phonics Program he will be able to read a Candy Story Reader after every five Daily Phonics Lessons. In addition, your child will also be given four additional Candy Readers that will carry him all the way through to Grade 4 reading and higher!
Again, because nothing is more frustrating for a beginning reading student than to approach a word that contains sounds he has not yet learned, each printable Candy Reader includes only those words made from blends your child has already mastered in his Daily Phonics Lessons.
