         WHERE DID CANDY 4WAY PHONICS COME FROM? 

The Candy 4WAY Phonics Program is that same phonics that taught a little girl named,

Candy, to read back in the 1950's.  It was updated by Carol Kay, a retired Christian school teacher of systematic phonics reading instruction (and a very close friend of Candy's). Carol spent more than 32 years reproducing this explicit 4WAY Systematic Phonics Program and five years updating its social content for today's generation of Christian families.
 
Carol Kay is also a homeschooling mom blessed with six fantastic children and the wife of
