THE CANDY 4WAY PHONICS MISSION STATEMENT
Many businesses
today are missing an important piece of the marketing puzzle. They are
concerned with making "enough" money rather than focusing on their original
"mission." At Candy 4WAY Phonics, it is our mission to truly care if children are
developing
in their reading skills. We care if
real
learning is taking
place.
We care that reading
development and learning tools and services are available to parents and
teachers at affordable prices.
This is what sets our CDL services apart from other phonics establishments.
In addition, our
research has told us that teaching precedes learning, that learning is not
something that simply "takes place" after a period of time. Primarily,
young children learn because they are taught, and if a child is missing an
element of knowledge, it is most likely because they were never taught that
knowledge or taught the skills to attain that knowledge. Our mission
is that parents and teachers be given the means to use the very best
practices when teaching children to read.
We believe that correct
methods coupled with praise and encouragement and patience bring about
student achievement.

believe that the function of educators is to make certain that education
really and truly takes place.
